About Elias

I was born in 1981 in Beit Sahour, Palestine. Raised in a modest middle class family, attended private schools, received a Diploma in Travel Agent Managment and IATA from Bethlehem University in 2001. 

Worked as Travel Consultant and Reservation Agent for 3 yeasr (2001 – 2003), meanwhile i was incharge of the membership office at the East Jerusalem YMCA / Youth Sport Center (2003 – 2006).  

Have since devoted my time and efforts to the progressive causes and organizations I support, all involved in working for a more humane and just world for all people everywhere and Peace, but especially my country Palestine. My efforts only in the last 2 years have included some writing on the various issues of most concern to me like war and peace. Also nonviolence activities for just Peace in the World.

Recently I work with Holy Land Trust Organization in Bethlehm- Travel and Encounter department, I coordinate and facilitate Group’s arrangments while they visit Palestine. We offer alternative and uniqe opportunities of all kinds, for all people to become acquainted with local culture and language through our home stay programs and extensive network of NGO affiliates. Through visits to both Palestinian and Israeli communities, sharing meals and candid conversations with local leaders and community members, touring the holy land, and participating in volunteering opportunities, you can discover the beauty of a country rich in culture and history.  Meanwhile I organize nonviolence tours where people can come and join the Palestinian Nonviolence Resistance against Wall and Occupation.

October 2005 attended Partnershp for Peace workshop – Atlanta, GA

October 2006 Member of Youth Advocacy Team to the United Nation – New York

July 2005 – Recent. Member of the Internatioanl Peace Bureau – Italian Student Group

June 2005 – Recent. Mayor for Peace Official Representative in Palestine
